Gazprom can stop gas supplies to Moldova if receives no payment
MOSCOW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom can stop gas supplies to Moldova if the state violates its obligation to pay before September 20, the company said in a statement in its Telegram channel on Tuesday.
“Gazprom reserves all its rights, including the right to stop the supplies completely if the obligation to pay before September 20 is infringed, and the right to terminate the contract at any moment because of serous violations of the terms to sign an agreement on settling Moldovagaz’s previous debts,” Gazprom said.
Moldova’s requests to adjust the contract obligations should be indicated in supplements to the contract, the company added.
